Writing Center Pedagogy, Theory, and Research

Description:
This course serves as an introduction to the work of writing centers and to writing center and composition pedagogies and theories. By reading and discussing writing center and writing studies scholarship, students will learn to engage in flexible practices to successfully work with writers from various backgrounds and identities at all academic stages. Students in this course will compose written projects and may have the option of working directly with writers in the Writing Center.
Pre Requisites: Pre-requisite: ENGL 102 and Department Consent
