Strategic Communication in Negotiation

Description:
This course is aimed at developing analytical and communication skills that are necessary for successful negotiations in all walks of life. In addition to the theory and exercises presented in class, students practice negotiating with role-playing simulations that cover a range of topics, including employment negotiation, interpersonal dispute, and intercultural conflict. Students will learn how to analyze their experiences using insights collected from decades of psychological research on social judgment, social cognition, and decision-making.
