In this special topics course, graduate students will read classic and contemporary research on political institutions, social movements, policy, and civic engagement from a sociological perspective in conversation with work in political science. Class discussion and written assignments are designed to support graduate students looking to specialize in the area or design and develop research projects in line with the topic.This course uses low-cost course material which will cost less than $50.
