Directed Study in Sociology

Description
Students conduct independent research on a topic of their choosing. Students must first identify a faculty sponsor who agrees to oversee the research project. Students must then submit a research proposal and contract to the Sociology Department¿s Director of Undergraduate Studies the semester prior to when the student would begin their project. Students who wish to complete an Honors College thesis must also have approval from their honors college advisor.
