Introduction To Java

Description
An introductory course in Java programming that exposes students to the concepts involved in using a higher-level, object-oriented programming language. The course will explain the program development process and give students lots of hands-on experience writing small Java programs.
Prerequisites
Open to IT-BS and CM majors. Students in partner programs may register for this course starting 01/05/2026. Guest students and non-partner program students may submit registration requests starting 01/15/2026 Placement into Math 115 or higher level math course or completion of Math 115 or higher level math course.
