Description
Examines the design, implementation and operation of cost accounting systems. With primary emphasis on cost analysis in manufacturing, the course explores cost standards, actual performance, and variances. To a lesser extent, it also applies concepts of cost accounting to manufacturing and service organizations.
Prerequisites
Open to College of Management students only. Non MGT major degree students in partner programs may register for this course starting 01/05/2026. Guest students and non-partner program students may submit registration requests starting 01/15/2026 AF 211, a minimum of 60 credits. MGT students only
